Clean Bees opened in 2001 to serve families and small businesses in the Fort Collins, Timnath, and Windsor areas. We are obsessed with providing an outstanding cleaning experience and specialize in comprehensive cleanings that are customized to each unique client. Wage, Bonuses, & Tips

Each New Bee is paid to go through our 21-day apprenticeship program that's designed to teach how to clean to the highest quality as efficiently as possible. The entry level starting wage is fair based on your previous cleaning experience and will be discussed at your interview. You are also paid for driving between accounts & eligible to earn bonuses from day 1 of employment.

Base wages are evaluated upon completion of training and then again biannually. Your mission is to consistently achieve the quality in the budgeted time and to maintain great attendance. Wage increases are granted based on longevity, performance in the key elements of your role, and company ability.

In addition to a competitive base hourly wage, our fully trained Homekeepers are eligible to collect tips and bonuses which, on average, increase their hourly wage by $2-$4/hour.

Benefits

We are open Monday - Saturday 8am-5pm. Typically cleanings are scheduled to start at 8:30 and we try to wrap up each day by about 4:30 or 5pm. On average each team cleans between 2-3 houses per day.

Full time staff can choose to work any 4 to 5 full shifts Monday - Saturday, part time staff can choose any 3 full shifts. Upon hire, you pick the set shifts you want to be guaranteed to work based on your preferences and availability. Full shifts are preferred, although custom schedules may be considered.

 

Can I customize my schedule around school? 

Yes! Outside of training, we can design a schedule that's built around your school schedule for the semester. However, the blocks of time that you are available to be cleaning has to be a minimum of 4 hours between the hours of 8am-5pm. All custom schedules are typically cleaned solo rather than in a team setting as it would be unlikely to find another person who holds your exact schedule.

Our service area includes all of Fort Collins as well as Wellington, Timnath, Severance, Windsor, and parts of Loveland. We do our very best to keep each day's schedule as well-routed as possible. In other words, while you may be scheduled to clean in any of the cities we service, in general you can expect the 2-3 houses you clean in a day to be within a reasonable driving distance of one another.
Our paid 21-day apprenticeship program blends in-person lessons, videos, workbooks, in-person demonstrations, and tons of hands-on practice to help you master an efficient but high quality result when approaching kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, and floor work. Since no two houses are the same, it takes practice in various weekly, every other week, monthly, and deep cleanings to really master the art of housekeeping. Ultimately you'll gain the skills and confidence to provide our clients with an outstanding cleaning experience by following our tried and true 4 Bees Routine.

While some New Bees have professional cleaning experience under their belts, a vast majority do not. Regardless of your relevant experience we want to ensure each person who joins our team can execute the same highly efficient and detailed cleanings by the end of training. Over the course of the 21-day training, we take people who like to clean and turn them into professional homekeepers.

Upon completion of training, not only will you be set up for success for your new job but you will also have learned an invaluable lifelong skill.

Yes! We have the most awesome collection of tank tops, tees, and hoodies so you can rock cute apparel at work. A Clean Bees top is required but you can let your personal style come through with accessories and comfortable bottoms of your choosing. Treaded non-slip shoes are required for your safety.
