Hi, I’m Katie—and I consider myself incredibly lucky. Every day, I get to do something I truly love alongside the best team in the world. I didn’t set out to build a big company—I just kept following the work I loved and the people I believed in. Turns out, that’s a pretty great foundation for a business.
I founded Clean Bees with the belief that everyone deserves a clean, calm sanctuary to call home. From day one, my goal has been to create a cleaning company that sets a higher standard—not just for our clients, but for our team. We’re not built like most companies. We aim to be a best-in-class service and a best-in-class employer—and we hope you feel that in everything we do.
A little about me personally… Back in 2000, while working in fine dining, I met a boy who convinced me to move to his hometown of Fort Collins. On a whim, I followed—and it turns out, he’s the love of my life. Outside of work, you’ll find us proudly cheering on our son as dedicated baseball parents. And when the boys are off hunting or fishing, you’ll find me brunching on a sunny patio with my best lady friends.

The hive gets a name: Clean Bees Housekeeping becomes official
We move into our very first office—no more working out of a storage unit & Katie’s home office!
The Homekeeper’s Academy is born: our in-house training program begins to take shape
Clean Bees goes digital: integrating a CRM system to streamline scheduling and client communication
Still going strong: proudly serving 400+ recurring clients and growing every day
Will be celebrating our 25 years in business

A History of
Experience.

After moving to Colorado with her partner, Katie stepped in to help a family friend with their small cleaning business. What began as a short-term favor quickly revealed something more: a calling rooted in care, service, and connection.
Within months, she launched Clean Bees as a side hustle while attending CSU full-time. She hired her first employee shortly after—and with that, a business began to bloom. Though the early vision was modest, her passion for the work and the relationships it fostered kept her building toward something bigger.
Over time, Clean Bees became known for more than clean homes. It became a company defined by intentional hiring, top-tier service, and a team culture that promotes from within. What started as a solo endeavor has evolved into a people-powered operation with decades of combined experience, a leadership team that’s walked the walk, and a genuine commitment to both clients and staff.
We’re proud to have served thousands of homes across Northern Colorado—and even prouder of the long-time clients and team members who’ve grown with us. Through every season of change, one thing has stayed the same: our dedication to delivering exceptional service that honors both people and place.

Emily

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
JOINED THE TEAM IN 2007
Hi, I’m Emily—and after nearly 20 years with Clean Bees, I’ve carved out my dream role: the sweet spot where strategy, systems, and creativity meet. 

I draw on deep industry knowledge to research, test, design, and implement the tools and processes that keep our hive running smoothly. From reporting and training materials to web content, marketing pieces, and internal workflows—if it touches the business, I’ve probably had my hands in it.

Outside of work, I show up fully for the people I love—and nothing makes me happier than hosting backyard hangs: cooking for family and friends, playing yard games, and soaking up Colorado evenings. My partner Austin and our dog Rhoadie are the heart of my world. Most nights, you’ll find us winding down together—laughing, dreaming up ideas for our future, and not taking life too seriously. We’re also big CSU fans and love cheering on the Rams whenever we can—especially if it means stadium snacks and sunny game days.

Angela

LEAD CLIENT EXPERIENCE CONSULTANT

Hi, I’m Angela—and I’m here to help you design your perfect clean.

As a longtime Clean Bee, I’ve met thousands of local families and business owners, and one thing always holds true: life runs smoother when you have a clean space. I love working with new clients to create custom cleanings that fit their routines and bring a little peace to busy lives—because I get it. You can’t pay someone to spend time with your kids, but you can pay someone to take cleaning off your plate.

I live out east with my partner Patrick, our four growing kids, a pack of animals, and a whole lot of joy. These days, I’m soaking up every moment before the kids head off on their own big adventures. When I can, you’ll find me reading, walking, or watching the sunset from our property—my favorite ways to slow down.

Chelsey

CLIENT CARE MANAGER
JOINED THE TEAM IN 2016
Hi, I’m Chelsey! I’m the voice behind the phone and the name behind the emails—making sure every Clean Bees client feels heard, supported, and completely taken care of.

If you have a question about your cleaning, billing, or schedule, I’m your go-to gal. I handle client accounts from A to Z with care, precision, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes hustle to keep your cleanings running smoothly.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me out enjoying live music with my husband or cozied up at home with my spoiled (and very vocal) cat, Turtle.

Becky

HOMEKEEPER’S GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Hi, I’m Becky—and I have the privilege of coaching and supporting the heartbeat of our Hive: our incredible Homekeepers. I manage the team once they’ve completed training, providing day-to-day guidance grounded in authenticity, accountability, and care. My goal is to help every cleaner grow with confidence, professionalism, and a strong sense of purpose.

Outside of work, I’m a Colorado girl through and through. I love hiking, camping, catching live music, and spending time with my daughter, Ember. I also share my home (and most of my furniture) with five very spoiled cats.

Dariana

CLIENT EXPERIENCE CONSULTANT
Hi, I’m Dariana—and my Clean Bees journey started with a vacuum in hand and a fierce eye for detail. I was promoted to our training team and spent a year passing along my cleaning skills to new hires. I also spent time managing the cleaning team before stepping back to pursue my next big dream: med school. Now you can find me in my new role designing cleanings via zoom. 

Outside of work, I am an avid student & still manage make time for the people I love. Whether it’s a quiet night in or a spontaneous adventure, I’m happiest surrounded by my favorite humans.

Rebecca

HOMEKEEPER’S TRAINING MANAGER
JOINED THE TEAM IN 2022
Hi, I’m Rebecca—and I’m here to help build, train, and support the incredible team behind Clean Bees. I have the privilege of meeting and selecting the best of the best, with the goal of developing amazing humans into confident, skilled Homekeepers.

I lead the first phase of every Homekeeper’s journey through our apprenticeship program, guiding new hires alongside our elite training team. We focus on technical excellence, consistency, and care—making sure every cleaner is fully equipped to deliver the elevated service our clients count on. My role is foundational to our reputation for excellence and the high standards that set us apart.

Outside of work, I love traveling to concerts, playing volleyball with friends, and recharging with some solo time—art journaling, catching up on my favorite shows, or diving into a good video game.

Before we provide your estimate, we take the time to tour your home or business, either face-to-face or through a virtual meeting. This step allows us to fully understand your space and the expectations you have for it. Based on what we learn, we’ll present three service packages — Good, Better, and Best — each designed to offer you the right mix of detail, frequency, and cost. Our approach is all about giving you the clarity, flexibility, and confidence you deserve before we ever begin.
